Statement on Continuing the Charade of Supporting CUPW
November 22nd, 2018 - 3:43pm
Today in the House the Speaker cautioned me on choice of language for accusing the government of sucking and blowing at the same time around back to work legislation for postal workers.
What do you think?
It’s clear the Prime Minister intends to continue the charade of supporting the collective bargaining process guaranteed under the charter while trampling on CUPW’s rights to force them back to work. I believe that’s called sucking and blowing at the same time, and Canadians are not buying it. He has no interest in resolving CUPW’s concerns around workload, pay equity, health and safety, and harassment.
Tell us please, how exactly is this Prime Minister an improvement over Stephen Harper?
