Are you planning to vote on October 27?  Does your vote count? Do you feel overwhelmed by the choices of candidates?  Do you have voter apathy?  Then we want to hear your perspectives, views, concerns and ideas.  During the event, we will be facilitating several breakout groups, each with a focused dialogue and discussion on one of the following topics:

  • Democracy in Ontario and Canada
  • The Election Process and Campaign Methods
  • The Disenchanted Voter: The Cost of NOT Voting
  • Making Voting Compulsory
  • Engaging Our Youth and Young Adults in Politics & Government
  • Inclusion & Civic Participation of Newcomers & New Canadians in Canadian Elections

If you are interested in current affairs; civic responsibilities; municipal affairs; politics; or social justice, citizen rights, etc. this would be an important community conversation in which to participate.  We hope you to see you there!
