Remembrance Day

Monday November 11th, 12:00am

London's Remembrance Day parade and ceremonies will be taking place at the Cenotaph (south east corner) of Victoria Park, on Tuesday November 11th.

The parade of veterans, Canadian Forces, police, firefighters, and cadets will begin at the Delta Armouries and proceed to the Cenotaph at 10:30am.

Following the ceremonies, the Remember November 11th Association will be hosting a public reception at Centennial Hall. All are welcome to attend.

Around London veterans, their families, and friends will also be gathering at Royal Canadian Legion branches for a time of comradeship and remembrance. You do not need to be a member of the Legion to visit and show your support.

Please don't forget to buy a poppy, from one of the many poppy boxes around London including your MP's office. All proceeds from poppy sales go to support veterans through the Legion's poppy fund.

(*Please note, MP Irene Mathyssen's office will be closed on Monday November 11th as Irene and her staff will be attending Remembrance services and gathering around the community)
