Public Engagement Session on Regional Healthcare Service
Thursday June 18th, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Kiwanis Seniors Centre

While healthcare service delivery and the LHINs are provinicial jurisdiction, through the Canada Health Act, the federal government does specify the conditions and criteria with which the provincial and territorial healthcare programs must conform in order to receive federal funding. A significant part of your federal taxes are transferred to the provinces for your healthcare, which is the reason I want you to have the opportunity to make your voice heard!
The South West LHIN hosting June engagement sessions with health service provider administrative leaders and the public.
The sessions will offer an opportunity for discussion on the challenges of the health system in our region. This is your opportunity to raise your questions, concerns and ideas for our healthcare delivery in the region.
