In Memory of Jack Layton

Jack Layton's leadership, friendship and strength will be deeply missed, but we will strive to make his legacy live on by building the better Canada that he dedicated his life to.  His message of hope will be remembered, as will his years of service to our country.
If you are in London on Saturday and you wish to join friends to watch the celebration of Jack's life, people will be gathering at the Aeolian Hall. The doors open at noon and all are welcome. Aeolian Hall is located at 795 Dundas St. E.

Funeral:
If you wish to go to Toronto and attend the State Funeral for the Honourable Jack Layton on Saturday, August 27, limited seating will be available to the general public.
Members of the public are invited to line up on King Street West outside Roy Thomson Hall. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, bracelets will be handed out to approximately the first 600 people in line.
Bracelet holders can then return to the same lineup area on King Street West by 12:00 noon, at which time they will receive an assigned seat ticket and will be able to proceed inside the hall.
Four large video screens will be set up in David Pecaut Square, to the west of Roy Thomson Hall, for overflow crowds.
