Funding Announcement

LONDON—I was pleased to join London’s Mayor, Matt Brown, and my fellow London MPs Kate Young and Peter Fragiskatos for the announcement today of a $1.8 Million investment in the London community through the federal Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.

In all 10 projects received funding including:

Main Trail Improvement, Westminster Ponds


Renovations of Harris Park Pavilion


Repair of Victoria Park Cenotaph


Expansion of Trails with the Coves


Fanshawe Pioneer Village Heritage Storefront rehabilitation


London Convention Centre Renovation


Improvements to HMCS Prevost Naval Memorial


Royal Canadian Legion Branch 533 Renovations



German Canadian Club Roof Rahabilitation

I am particularly happy to see investments to enhance trail systems that allow us to enjoy our natural environment, destination points such as the London Convention Centre and Pioneer Village, and of course those investments that honour our veterans.
