Enabling Accessibility Fund Accepting Applications
April 2nd, 2015 - 2:21pm
The Community Accessibility Stream of the Enabling Accessibility Fund launched a call for applications last week. The Fund is designed to offer financing to eligible recipients, in order to develop projects aimed at improving accessibility in communities across Canada. This includes:
• renovating, redeveloping, or building community facilities or improving programs and/or services offered to disabled persons;
• modifying motor vehicles to meet transportation needs around the community;
• installing communications and information technologies in the community.
Community organizations can access these funds to improve the quality of services they provide. Please do not hesitate to contact any organizations to let them know about the call for applications. The deadline to apply is April 27, 2015.
You can file your application by clicking here: http://www.esdc.gc.ca/eng/disability/eaf/community.shtml
